I guess I'm in the minority, I prefer this subscription model anyway (especially the 'always having the current version' part). Overall, I get so much value from the product that I just don't have a problem this model. I don't bother with disks anymore (they do have them, of course), and I'm happy to just download again as necessary from the website. The day I purchased, Quicken's price was better.
My price was $105 for 2 years, directly from Quicken this time. Up until the 2019 release, I often found better prices on Amazon (or same price, more months of subscription). I made the switch last month - 2016 Premier to 2019 Premier.
